Harlow’s House of Horrors is a community Halloween fundraiser in Googong. Her human organiser reviews the nominations and prepares the displays and stories.
What the form collects
We collect your name and email, optional phone number, the nominee’s name, your connection to them, their story, any privacy preferences and optional photos. We also record when the nomination arrives and your acknowledgements. A hashed connection identifier helps limit spam; it isn’t displayed with your nomination.
How we use it
We use this information to review nominations, contact you, plan a possible skeleton display and discuss what may be shared. Nominations and reference photos are held privately for the organiser to review. Please avoid sharing private addresses, identification documents or detailed medical information.
Submitting isn’t permission to publish
Your nomination does not automatically appear on the website or social media. Before a display or story is shared, the organiser will discuss names, photos, tagging and story details with the people involved and obtain their agreement. A nominator cannot give permission on somebody else’s behalf.
Nicknames and anonymous stories are welcome. For a child’s story or image, a parent or guardian must agree before publication. Please be 18 or over, or ask a parent or guardian to submit the form.
Photos and videos
Only upload photos you have permission to share for private review. Permission for public use is a separate conversation. Published stories may include agreed display photos and videos. Once information is publicly shared, other people may save or reshare it.
Corrections and withdrawals
Keep the reference shown after submitting. If you want to correct or withdraw a nomination, contact the organiser through the community or social channel where you found Harlow’s House of Horrors and quote that reference. If the organiser has contacted you by email, you can reply there.
Donations
The donation button takes you to Chuffed. Donation and payment details are handled there, rather than through this website’s nomination form.
